In the games the overview looks as the upper picture.
- You choose freely among the offices depending on how you assess your situation.
- In the upper part there are financial offices. "Strategies" is added at the Expert level (not optional at the moment).
- In the lower part there is a process flow, where you buy from the left and sell to the right.
- Trading and service companies have no office "Production" as in manufacturing companies.

In the courses, on the contrary, the offices have different names reflecting the content and steps you take in each specific course, where you tackle quite different scenarios on the way to a diploma.

When you have finished a part, it is marked with a "*".  One of the targets is to get all parts marked. You can redo courses or repeat parts.

Do NOT use the browser [Back] and [Forward] -arrows to navigate. Stick to the buttons and links provided in the courses. Otherwise exit and start afresh.

Actions and Feedback

By means of colour and shape
finance is easy to understand in a fun way

The pictures are taken from the basic courses, among others with many videos as below. You learn where you are, on any computer and save the climate.

video clips with explanation of concepts and approaches
Action and testing format
In the image you have clicked the inbox and got a simple decision base to the right with a report to the left. Instead of a report there can be a calculation tool or a video that is shown. You can pick up different reports and tools. On the way to a diploma you are confronted with events, decisions, tasks and quizzes in right doses.

Decisions, questions and feedback
Make decisions from a varying number of options. Your decisions and answers get immediate feedback showing the consequences in the reports. Decisions are dynamic and change by how the company develops.

Facts - Digital book and Dictionary
Reports and tools have a link, Facts, containing learning materials about theory and factual knowledge with audio and video. The Facts-texts appear in pop-up windows which you can add next to the questions and decision bases that you want to have answers to by a search function. There are guides and a dictionary too.

Employability and shortened learning time
Courses and games consist of actions and immediate feedback.
By means of colour and shape,
you understand the overall context of finance.

The International Business Learning Games Competition 2019

The finalists get a diploma. In the concept of "Business Learning Games" it is important that "Business Learning" is the purpose and that "Games" is a means. In ProfitGames it is not one game, but the combination of many games and courses, that leads to the purpose, Business Learning.

Profit Game

There are two types of digital business games

Classic business games
Business games, a lot over the years, have mainly been and are of a type, where decisions are made in lumps that affect key factors, e.g. supply and demand in a market. You balance the relationship between a strategy with lumpy decisions and the effect on key factors, by guessing-and-trying-on. In many simulations advertising is important in the mix, while in other games other combinations are try-ons.

You try to learn the game to see what. The main purpose of classic games is fun competition by guesses, with results made by hidden algorithms (otherwise no competition), after which you continue to guess-and-try-on.

Business Game Classic BGC
is of this common kind, where you balance supply and demand by price, costs, advertising and production. You get to know supply and demand, which is good and easy to do at an early stage.
Above, there are many games/courses designed for you to learn finance.
You can calculate and see the economic consequences of each individual decision and task. You do not have to guess.
A direct feedback after every single decision deepens your knowledge of finance. The mathematical relationships and the effects on the greater contexts are visual, logic and clear. You get them in colour and shape. You have access to about thirty reports, calculation and simulation tools with teaching aids. You can search and learn before you answer. You meet trading, service and manufacturing businesses with goods, services and markets that you decide.
* Focus is on learning finance, not learning a game.
* It is an advantage to use several types of simulations and games, especially those leading to finance diplomas above, to fulfill the national strategy's demand for good access to digital learning resources of high educational, interactive, visual and scientific quality.

Business Game Classic BGC

A. Supply Chain Management SCM
You start by running two courses.
1. Entrepreneur Finance Intro is an introduction to finance for non-economists in a number of videos.
2. The intro course to the game shows how you balance supply and demand in a classic game and avoid bankruptcy in BGC.

3. You can at last try on the classic game BGC.
You get the feeling and experience in running a business

Setup time is minimal

"- I’ve used Capstone and some Harvard simulations. The Unique Selling Point of this game is that the setup time is minimal. It can be used as an introduction to business simulation for students with little or no experience to simulation. Even within the limited scope, there’s complexity in the game as it involves multiple variables (production, marketing, R&D, etc.)."
Prof. Salman Ali
Business Policy and Strategy Department
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur.

Value Chain Management
"- It helps students gain an appreciation for the connection between elements in the value chain – pricing/advertising (demand), production/employees (supply), and R&D (productivity gains)."
Efficient logistics gives customer satisfaction.
